Yes, we generally offer the possibility to do an internship at Lightweight. You can find all current internship positions in the section "Open positions at Lightweight". You are also welcome to send us an unsolicited application for an internship and we will then check whether we can offer you an internship in the respective division.

• You address your application to us.
• We will confirm the receipt of your application.
• We then check internally whether you are a good fit for us and meet the relevant recruitment criteria, which can be found in the respective job description.
• If the application documents have convinced us, we would like to get to know you personally and invite you to an initial interview.
• Either you exchange information by phone or we get to know each other personally in Friedrichshafen.
• Usually there will be a second interview in which we would like to get to know you better and discuss contractual details.
• Now we decide whether you fit into our team and the conditions are right.
• Finally, we will submit you a contract offer.
• If the contract is concluded, we will welcome you in our team very soon!

You do not need an addressee for a covering letter, in this case you are welcome to use general terms.

You should compile a cover letter, a curriculum vitae, the last certificate of your university or school education and relevant professional references or samples (if available) in a pdf document. If you wish, you can also attach a recent photograph.

However, the total size of the pdf should not exceed 10 MB!

As a rule, these are vacancies that are to be filled at the earliest possible date. Otherwise, this is explicitly stated in the job advertisement.
